Every detail of every Thistle and Spire design is is obsessed over by our three person design team (2.5 if you consider our Founder is also running our day to day operations).
We pore over each part of the process, from draping, sketching, and creating prototypes by hand in our NYC design studio to custom-designing opulent embroidery, intricate strap details, and bespoke accents.
Each season starts with us gathering hundreds of inspiration images and making countless hand sketches.
Hand sketches are then fleshed out in our 3D pattern software where all the little details are finalized.
Custom embroidery, prints and bespoke hardware are developed in house by our team to ensure each Thistle and Spire design is a unique showstopper.
We thoughtfully engineer our pieces to be highly adjustable so that our designs fit a wide range of customers.
Designs are fit on multiple sized models and pattern adjustments are made by our team to ensure the entire range hugs just right.
