Our alpha sized bras and bralettes are highly adjustable so that they fit a wide range of customers. We recommend that customers with fullers busts size up and adjust underbust bands down. If you have a fuller bust, you can check out a list of recommended bras for here.
Why can’t I find my size?
If we do not carry your size, we are very sorry to have let you down. You can contribute to this poll here, which our team reviews quarterly to understand what sizes you are looking for.
We are a tiny company and don't have the capability to make the entire bra size range just yet. A great deal of time and investment goes into perfecting and engineering each and every size. We want to make sure that all sizes fit perfectly when we do expand our size range. It is our long term goal to grow the size offering. We are working towards that goal, but it's going to take us a little time. Thank you for your patience
Why does it take so long to grow your size range?
Our story started when our founder decided to quit her full-time job and take a chance designing her own line of lingerie. She did this without any deep-pocketed investors so she started with a handful of sizes and we've been working to grow that since. Each and every size is an investment when factories have high minimums. We're growing every aspect of the business as fast as we can with the limited resources we have.
How are Thistle and Spire products made?
In order to provide beautiful and obtainable products we work with a small handful of high quality lingerie factories in China. These factories are all complaint with local health and safety laws to promote healthy working conditions. In addition our Head Designer and Founder personally visits and inspects every factory we work with in order to meet the workers, and evaluate the suitability of the factory work environment. It is very important to us as a company to provide the best product that we can, in addition to providing a safe and comfortable environment for the people who manufacture these garments.

Got as an option for a boudoir photoshoot to match the Verona longline bra. This is so pretty and the perfect aesthetic I want. I am going to repurchase these in a size up, though. The size I bought (L) could work if I adjust the strappy bands to sit super high, but an XL will sit more nicely on me without creating dips in my hips if I sit the bands how they are supposed to be. That’s my fault on sizing, though. Underwear is tricky for me to gauge how it will fit since I have a smaller waist but wider hips. It depends where it sits for me to choose the best size and sizing between brands is not always consistent. As my first purchase here, I now know their sizing is very true to size and don’t have to worry about gaping in the gusset if I size for my hips.
