The event aims to celebrate women we find admirable for how they’re supporting women in their careers and their journeys in coming to love themselves in a world that tells you over and over again that you shouldn’t, then turns around ands asks why you don’t.

This Ladies' Night event was our fourth ever and we rang it in with an incredible team. We're beyond thankful for our sponsor, France Luxe, for the amazing hair accessories and incredibly impressed with the work of our photographer and videographer, Erica Genece and her assistant. Our guests ranged from models disrupting the industry to entrepreneurs and business owners to artists.

We asked our guests to share about how their careers and creative lives today have been affected by their confidence over the years. We were moved and filled with love by each and every single one of their answers. It was remarkable to see not only the strength in that room but also the vulnerability. We’re so not used to talking about our insecurities, our mental health, what we hate about ourselves, and what scares us, but it’s important to be reminded that you’re not alone in this journey even if it might feel that way. Sure the lingerie world seems like all fun and games, but it’s not called intimates for just any reason. Every day, undergarments are a part of a woman’s routine and are the first things on her body. Undergarments walk the line of self-hate and self-love every day with a person. These events always remind us why the Thistle & Spire was created, to help women feel more beautiful and at home in their skin while accentuate the multifaceted reality of being a woman. It's our hope that when someone wears our garments, they instantly becomes more confident and ready to own their day.

While the conversation portion of this event is always a bit of a tear-jerker, it's incredible to see all of that powerful energy translate into our photoshoot after. The confidence, the emotions, the three hour bond that feel like a lifetime, they're all there.
